As we know, Neil Patel is the most famous and well know name in internet marketing field. Recently Neil Patel published a video on YouTube on own war story about getting banned by Google that you should avoid while doing SEO of any website. If you don’t, you’re gonna get banned your website.

There are 3 tips that you should avoid: –

Tips 1: – I thing, I have for you is building links through WordPress themes. Some people are still doing that and get some surprising results from this. They build links through WordPress Themes, Widgets, and stack counter badges. It may increase your website links and ranking website on most competitive terms and you will rank higher on competitive keywords for some next months.

And you know what happened? Google eventually banned by website. When you are ranking on number 1 and generating $100000+ dollar per month and that was great but now you banned by Google and they only banned me, and funny enough, while number 2 and number 3 is using same tactic but Google didn’t banned them.  And I think it was because people eventually found out, it was my website and they wanna make an example nonetheless, we learnt don’t do shady links building tactics.

Tips 2: – The second strategy I have for you is expired domain names. There was a domain name that was named after a park one day. It was battlefield something, maybe battlefield bypass or whatever it is. And I bought this expired domain name, cause it was about like the civil war in America and it has all edu links. And I did something really creative and interesting. And I’m no longer in this space, So I will tell you all about it. So with this battlefield bypass site, what I ended up doing is I took the expired domain name, put up casino related content, and then I build some links here and there, but all I did was just a take really old domain name that had a ton of authority. You are talking about a domain name that costs over $10000 that was expired and people were like, oh my god, this thing has a high Google paid rank, and back then that mattered, now it doesn’t. I switched it all to casino related stuff, and then boom, I popped up in the top three spots for the key term online casino and casino. That’s crazy, right? Eventually Google figure it out, got banned, lost all my money, but when I was at the top, I was making, again, six figures in affiliate income each and every single month. If you notice a trend I used to do a lot of the stuff back in day I when I was a kid. I stopped really doing this kind of stuff now because it’s not long run.
